Marc Torrecillas

A graphic designer and illustrator by training, he studied as an actor, director and playwright at the Ateneu Barcelonès and at the Sala Beckett. He has learned playwriting with Toni Cabré, Helena Tornero, Ricard Gázquez, Mercè Sarrias, Marc Martín, Pau Miró and Jordi Oriol, and directing with Glòria Balañà. He has written several long plays, such as Tot bé, gràcies, La Invasió de l’espai (reading at the Sala FlyHard), Perfecte, Supernormal and Terra Incògnita, some of them premiered at the El Círcol in Badalona. He has also written and directed many microtheatre pieces, such as Villancicos, Ninis, Missatge Terra-Lluna, Constantinopla, B.I.C., Maestro, L’últim tall, Born to be, Fruits secs, Será maravilloso, Bum-Bum, Spanking and Mala Peça. In 2010 he wrote Anna, which has premiered on three occasions with different artístic teams. In 2021 he premiered Ni tu ni jo at the Sala Planeta in Girona with production by GR-210.
