We occupy our common space. We construct this daily bubble to inhabit the good life. Together we decide where to place a chair, where to hang a photo, where to pile up clothes, where to put a mattress, where a lamp. Together we decide which chair, which photo, which clothes, which mattress and which lamp. It is this bubble that keeps us united and protects us. But it also isolates us, contains us, closes us in on ourselves. It causes the sensation that we no longer form part of the world, of something shared. A type of loneliness that emerges from the sensation of disconnection from other realities.
