El berenar d’Ulisses

A few years ago I came across an article that talked about the origin, development and decline of a colony of processionary moths in the forests of the Baix Camp region. I wouldn’t be able to explain the reason precisely why, but reading it reminded me of the story of a family that I came to know very well when I was still living outside Catalonia. A few months later, I received a visit from a friend who told me, while we were reviewing the lives of our acquaintances, that the last descendant of that family had disappeared mysteriously and without a trace.
