Rural esperpento. For Marianna’s First Communion, her aunts, Fecunda and Misericòrdia, decide to organise the murder of those responsible for the death of her mother. Fecunda takes charge of convincing the brothers to go out with their shotguns to seek revenge. In a revealing dream of her niece she sees that it is the assigned day, even her mother appears from beyond the grave demanding the end. Chaos takes over the plot and everyone who has contact with the family penetrates in a kind of death ritual. In the end, does the silence so long desired arrive, or not?
