Charon, the ferryman of the Styx, wants to see how humans live and to find answers to the questions that intrigue him regarding these creatures, who reach him after death. But he needs to find an apprentice to substitute him while he is away. Morticia, a young girl seeking work, will be the apprentice that is imposed upon him from Olympus. In Hades, Morticia meets Eurydice, the nymph whom Orpheu was going to marry. Every day Eurydice tries – unsuccessfully – to steal from Charon something he has in his custody and that could bring her back to life. The arrival of Morticia will break the fragile balance in which the existence of Charon and Eurydice evolves and will even change their relationship with the gods of Olympus.
