Llengua de bou
Author: Ricard Gázquez
Marcelo Buey has committed a crime and wanders around the streets talking about what obsesses him.
The clamour of the people of the old city surrounds him and the neighbours’ voices reverberate in his head. Marcel chatters without respite and he relives the scenes of the crime.
When, at last, he is besieged by the witnesses who accuse him, he cuts out his tongue in order not to confess before the crowd who seek to execute him.
