Author: Rafel Gallego

The play takes us to the last night of Federico García Lorca before he was shot by a firing squad for his ‘modern’ ideas and his ‘condition’. But also that of all those people repressed, persecuted or tortured for thinking or being “different” and that of those ahead of their time who decided to live freely and paid dearly for it.
Amarg is the ‘before’ and the ‘during’ of that night, freely reconstructed, but also an approach to the legend, the poet, the traveller, the playwright, the friend, the lover and all those who write, live and love with passion.
