Folie en Famille (2007)

Folie en famille is a term used in psychopathology to describe the delusional belief, transmitted within a family, that abnormality is normal. Irene has been murdered by her husband. The women in the family confront the situation in a state of shock that makes them behave irrationally. Communication breakdown, mutism in the face of violence or threats from natural phenomena mark out the road to disaster. All told, a family tragedy: a short thriller steeped in cruelty.
