Gust de cendra
Author: Guillem Clua
In Jerusalem, in a land that has seen the birth of ancestral religions, eternal wars and millenary myths, three American tourists confront the weight of history and of their own phantoms while two Palestinian youths carry out a secret plan to make sense of a life immersed in misery and oppression. In the spirit of La pell en flames, in Gust de cendra the Western world once again collides with the East in an explosion of feelings that change the lives of the characters forever. The play offers an ambitious reflection on politics, religion, beliefs, faith, love and, in short, the taste that we want our individual and collective future to have.
