La memòria d’una Ludisia
Author: Victoria Szpunberg
A sound piece written for radio.
The exiled woman has grown old. She lives with one of her daughters. She tries to live her everyday life calmly, but when night comes, all the ghosts appear.
A cynical interviewer wants to do a report on exile. Again and again she asks the same question: “Do you consider yourself a victim?”
Note: This play forms part of a larger work on the fragile nature of the memory (how to narrate an abysmal event: exile and the last Argentinean dictatorship). Besides this text, also forming part of the work are El meu avi no va anar a Cuba (els meus pares sí) (2008) and La marca preferida de las hermanas Clausman (2010).
