L’ase i la pedra

The action takes place in the reception area of a hotel in a city where a major sports event is being held. The hotel’s receptionist and the rest of the characters – namely the receptionist’s father, her brother, an unemployed actor, and a female orchestra conductor who is ill – engage in dialogue on a night when the euphoria in the streets contrasts with their own uncertainties.
