Would you kill someone you love?

Toni and Júlia are brother and sister. He is a strong-willed person whereas she is incapable of taking decisions. When the vet advises Toni to euthanise his dog Rita, all of his self-security evaporates. Júlia, in contrast, is very clear about the decision that needs to be made. But when Toni puts forward a similar decision in relation to their mother, the decisions of the two siblings crash.

Rita is a comedy that talks about family, about siblings, about the mother-child bond and also about the difficulty of “letting go” of those who we love.
