Since the summer of 1936, a group of Republicans buried in a pit somewhere in Spain, have been wondering how the Civil War ended and who won the struggle. They don’t know that nobody is coming to rescue them: to rescue their dead bodies, of course. To give them holy burial. Then one day, they hear loud noises outside the pit and think that, at last, somebody is coming to get them out of there. Meanwhile, they have been joined by Laura, a girl who was raped and murdered by her boyfriend, who buried her just a few metres away from them. She updates them a little on the history of Spain. Meanwhile, the noises continue, ever more intense and closer… thus increasing their hopes of leaving the ditch where they have lain for over seventy years.
