Playwright, theatre director and teacher. He graduated in Playwrighting and Directing from the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona and holds a Master’s degree in Performing Arts and Sciences from the Universidad del País Vasco. He is co-founder of the Playwriting Festival on the PIIGS Crisis and the Publisher of 4 volumes of contemporary dramaturgy.
He has written over twenty plays, including El más allá, Al Hoyo and Un incidente puntual (published in a Spanish-English bilingual volume, 2023), Azul (Teatro Español Playwrighting Tournament, 2022), Bangkok (SGAE Award for Theatre 2013), Dow Jones (Teatre de Vallromanes, 2012), El Tiovivo (32nd Sitges Festival Teatre Internacional 2001 and Tantarantana, 2004; AAT), Firenze (Arola Editors, 2003), In Experiments with Rats SGAE Award for Theatre 2007), Despedida II (SGAE Award for Theatre 2001) and Los Carniceros (Marqués de Bradomín Award1998; Ediciones Invasoras, 2023), among others.
His plays have been translated into English, Greek, Romanian, Italian, Portuguese, French and Catalan.
