La claror (2020)

Into the Light is a play that combines documentary theatre and fiction to recover the life and work of Rafela Servera “Quelona”, one of the most important storytellers of traditional Mediterranean tales. The play, almost a monologue, follows the story of Catalina, who invites us to the theatre to tell us a fable that has given meaning to her life. This story leads us to an almost lost reality, situated between the spiritual and the earthly, between fiction and the ordinary: the place where stories live.
Through the story, Catalina reveals how she discovered the figure of Rafela Servera and the art of storytelling. In the process, she discovers and transforms herself.
