Writer and cultural manager. Member of the La Gent del Llamp collective. In 1998 he launched the theatre collection Textos a part. Among his projects are the Convent de les Arts, in Alcover, and the Casa de les Lletres, in Tarragona, which he directs. He has published over twenty books. He has won the following prizes: Josep M. de Sagarra (theatre translation, 1988), Ciutat d’Alzira (novel, 1993), 14 d’abril (theatre, 2008) and Serra d’Or (theatre, 1999 and 2010). He has premiered Entaulats (Tàrrega, 1983), El telèfon (Tarragona, 1989), Senyores i senyors… (Tàrrega, 1990); El concurs (Romea, 1994); El bagul (Sitges TI, 1994), Estranyament estrany (Versus, 1997); Dinastia Ming (Salt, 1998); Per què? (Reus, 2008) and Peus descalços sota la lluna d’agost (Reus, 2011). Some of his irregular theatre pieces, brought together in El cap ple de formigues (2011), have formed part of shows directed by Albert Mestres. He has translated Beckett, Maupassant and Radiguet.
